Having used both active and passive speaker systems for several years, I have come to the conclusion that for most people, active is the way to go. A few years ago, we at JLDJ decided that the ‘Pro-Sound’ passive speaker system that we were using just sounded crap. We started looking at different speakers, both active and passive.
Being in the mobile DJ business, I regularly check out other mobile DJ’s websites to see the sort of services/prices they are offering. Something that always shocks me is how bad a lot of DJ’s logos and websites are. When Joe and I decided that it was time to overhaul the look of JLDJ a couple of years ago, we thought that creating a professional looking logo and website would be fairly quick and simple. As it happens, it’s not.
After going through the trauma of have Joe as a ‘client’ when designing all the new graphics for JLDJ, I thought I would offer some help to try and make the Mobile DJ community a more graphics savvy place!
